Hey and welcome back to my blog,

This week I wanted to touch on Gardner's Multiple intelligence theory. Throughout my degree at university and into my teaching career, I have had a very strong interest in this theory and the opportunities it can present for my students. Its a little bit like that famous saying by Albert Einstein "Everybody is a Genius. But If You Judge a Fish by Its Ability to Climb a Tree, It Will Live Its Whole Life Believing that It is Stupid."

Multiple intelligence Theory has a similar outlook as what Einstein said as it focuses on the fact that everyone has a slightly different way that they learn best and if these differences can be identified then we can build on these strengths while also strengthening the areas in which our students need help with.

Watch this space on more developments in my exploration of multiple intelligences and the personal learning space!
