Hi and welcome back to my blog! Please subscribe to keep up to date with whats happening in my Science Lab. Yes, you read that right! I have my very own Science Lab and I am the Science Teacher to 755 inquisitive little scientists! My dream has well and truely come true and whats even more exciting is those dreams are now only getting better and bigger. I graduated in May this year and can officially call myself a beginner teacher, working towards accreditation. Come join me on my crazy journey! I'd love to motivate you to be the best you can be because at the end of the day, I truely feel that all men, women and children deserve to feel the best they can feel and do anything they set their minds to.
I am a teacher.
Throughout my uni days, my goal was to become a teacher. I've now achieved that goal and its time for bigger goals now. I want to make a REAL difference in this world. I want to go GLOBAL with my teaching. Not classroom size, school size or even national. BIG dreams for a beginner teacher, I know! You may be sitting there thinking I've lost it or I'm not in touch with reality but really its quite the contrary. In my first full semester as a full-time teacher, I have realised that my expectations of myself are not high enough. I have done things this past two terms that I didn't think I'd be doing until I was well into my career and I've been so lucky to start my career at an amazing public education school that strives for excellence so I thought to myself, well I must lead by example as a teacher and strive for excellence in myself. The past few weeks have become a massive turning point for me. My perspective on my role in this life has changed dramatically. I am no longer content to be a classroom teacher when I know that I can have an influence on a grander scale.
Please watch the Ted talk below and you may get what I mean.
Sending Happy vibes to you all!
